At RPHome, you can leave the "heavy lifting" to us as we offer a comprehensive list of services such as housekeeping, meal prep, hairdressing and more - leaving you with endless possibilities in how to spend your time.
Transportation and social services also give you additional freedom to connect with friends - new and old - as well as with family members. And with a full calendar of daily activities, you have the option to socialize to your heart's content or find a calming respite such as reading in one of our common areas.
Beauty/Barber Services
We have a fully equipped Beauty Shop which is open at designated times during the week and staffed with a licensed beautician. Come in for a relaxing shampoo and styling or choose from custom hair color and cutting options. For an added beauty boost, schedule time with us for a manicure and hand massage or experience a soothing foot soak and pedicure. At RP Home, we're here to help you feel your best.
Dining Services
Our dining staff prepares three nutritious, well-balanced meals each day. We know good food is important and we want you to be satisfied with the meals you receive. Preferences are honored and specialized diets are available.
RP Home's dining venues include our Personal Care Dining and the Main Dining Room. Independent Living residents may purchase meals to eat in the Main Dining Room.
We are happy to have your family and friends join you for a meal. Guest meals and special catering for family get-togethers, parties and celebrations are also accommodated.
Housekeeping and Laundry Services
Our housekeeping department provides a clean and sanitary environment throughout our buildings. Resident rooms and public areas in the Nursing Center are cleaned regularly. Resident rooms in Personal Care receive a thorough cleaning monthly, with housekeeping provided five days a week and daily upkeep completed by our Resident Care staff.
Our in-house laundry department launders all linens, towels, and bedding provided by the RP Home for both Nursing and Personal Care residents. We also offer laundry service for residents’ personal items.
In Personal Care, residents are invited to bring their own linens and towels or they can be provided for you. Generally, bed linens are changed weekly, or as needed. Clean towels are available to be delivered to your room several times a week, or as needed. There is a washer and dryer available for residents’ personal use on the second floor. Please see the Resident Care Aides if you have any questions.
The Vista and Upper Rooms building has its own laundry room where you may do your laundry or you may purchase laundry services from the RP Home. You may also purchase housekeeping services from us.
Internet /Wireless Internet Services
Wireless internet service is available throughout our campus. Computers for general use are available in the Library.
Social Services
Experienced social service staff offers support, guidance and resource sharing to residents and their families. They will assist you with your needs and are experts on topics including insurance, referrals for services, and counseling.
Transportation
RP Home has a 14-passenger bus and a 5-passenger van (both of which are wheelchair accessible) and an active transportation program. Once a week, the bus takes residents to area shopping centers where you may shop for groceries, sundries, and clothing and do your banking. Other transportation services needed for activities such as medical appointments may be available on a fee-for-service basis. You may also choose public transportation – PAT Bus 8 stops at the front door of the RP Home or you may choose ACCESS.
Spiritual Care
RP Home is committed to your spiritual well-being. All residents of Reformed Presbyterian Home are welcome to attend worship services in our chapel each Sunday at 10:45 AM and 7 PM. We strive to provide spiritual care for all denominations and faiths.
We also offer regular Bible studies and devotional meetings as well as one-on-one spiritual care through our Spiritual Care Team.
We encourage you to continue a relationship with your pastor and church family. We welcome them to visit you in our community.
