Reflections by the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

In June, The Reformed Presbyterian Home celebrated our momentous 125th anniversary.

As part of the celebration, many supporters enjoyed our Founder’s Day event and learned of RP Home’s 2022- 2023 Capital Campaign. This campaign includes the renovation of the resident’s Chapel and community spaces. Raised funds will also enhance our organization’s technological capabilities and improve access to life enrichment activities.

We are excited about the Capital Campaign’s progress as we have raised $215,000 of our $500,000 goal! A recognition wall will soon display individuals who have donated $1,000 or more. We are honored that many families have collectively donated in the honor or memory of a loved one. Please consider giving to this important cause and improving the lives of our seniors!

Our anniversary also has us reflecting on the amazing achievement of providing supportive living services to seniors for 125 years, especially given the growing challenges senior living organizations are presently enduring. We attribute our success to our supporters and to the incredible staff serving our residents. It is their dedication that makes RP Home’s mission a reality.

In honor of their efforts and dedication, every year we recognize members of our staff who have reached employment milestones. This September, we recognized five staff members, three of whom have each served a total of 15 years. Another two staff members celebrated 20 years of service!

As we look to the future, The Reformed Presbyterian Home remains committed to providing a supportive living environment to those who call us “home.” Thank you to everyone who has celebrated with us this summer, and thank you for joining us as we look forward to another 125 years of care.

Sincerely,

Cara D. Todhunter, Executive Director
